The premier ice skating rink in Lehigh Valley offers the most dynamic mix of programming for all ability levels. Located in SouthSide Bethlehem, it’s also the only rink that offers daily public skating all year long on its two NHL-sized surfaces.
Steel Ice Center features programs in figure skating, ice hockey, speed skating and recreational skating. Each program is complemented by training and instruction at all skill levels. The facility also offers a full service pro shop, snack bar, three party rooms, heated seated area, and multiple team locker rooms.
Need some time to yourself? The Steel Pub sports bar is attached, featuring a window to the rink so you can keep a watchful eye on your kids as you grab a meal and a pint.

Skate with the pros! PPL Center is home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers. On select game nights, fans can bring their skates to join a post-game skate with the players! It’s also the only rink on the planet with a giant PEEPS zamboni, giving this rink an extra special L.V. vibe.
The arena offers ice time to public hockey teams around the region, too, sometimes during intermission of a Phantoms game! Programming also includes the Phantoms Sled Hockey team for youth (ages 5-16) with mobility challenges.

Bigger and better than ever, you can skate in the shadow of the historic Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces at The Ice Rink at SteelStacks! In typical ArtsQuest style, it’s a party every night with theme nights for everyone including “Tuesdays with Taylor,” “90s Hip Hop Skate,” “Emo Night,” and more!
Make a day out of your visit by shopping at the renowned Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem during the holiday season or seeing a show inside the adjacent ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks. You can also eat up and fill up your Musikfest mug inside at Palette & Pour.

Skate in the heart of downtown at the Easton Winter Village! The skating surface is synthetic, not actual ice, but still provides the same kind of family fun. While skating, take a selfie with the historic Peace Candle in the background to use for your holiday card!
