Family fun is at the heart of PEEPSFEST®, the annual two-day New Year’s Eve festival celebrating the whimsy and wonder of the PEEPS® Brand at the iconic SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA. Each year, fans arrive from all over the country to enjoy activities and marvel at the PEEPS® Chick Drop – a 4-feet, 9-inches tall, 400-pound lit PEEPS® Chick that descends at 5:30 p.m. both days to mark the beginning of an exciting new year. Close out 2023 in the sweetest way possible at the annual festival featuring the PEEPS® Chick drop.
The Basics
Come to SteelStacks campus from 3–6:00 p.m. on December 30 & 31 to enjoy the new outdoor ticketed format of PEEPSFEST®, complete with new family-friendly activities, live music and entertainment, a Fun Run/Walk, Dioroma contest, and the famous PEEPS® Chick Drop at 5:30 p.m, followed by a spectacular fireworks display
Getting a jump on the New Year's resolutions? Sign up for the PEEPSONALITY® Family Fun Run/Walk on December 30. Tickets, which can be purchased for $10, will include early entry into the event, unique PEEPS® flavors sampling, photo opportunities, and a prize for the participants with the most "PEEPSONALITY®".
The PEEPS® Chick Drop
December 30 & December 31 at 5:30 p.m.
Bring the whole family to SteelStacks from 3–6 p.m. and countdown to the PEEPS® Chick Drop, celebrating Just Born Quality Confections’ 100th anniversary! The massive PEEPS® Chick, weighing in at 400 pounds and standing 4 feet and 9 inches tall, will descend for the countdown to the New Year at 5:30 p.m. each day.
Lehigh Valley PEEPS® Diorama Competition
Voting for the best Lehigh Valley PEEPS® Diorama is on. Check out the entries and cast your ballot for the PEEPle's Choice Vote Now! The PEEPle’s Choice winner will be announced during the festival.

The PEEPSONALITY® Family Fun Run & Walk
1:30–3 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 30
Register the whole family for the PEEPSONALITY® Family Fun Run & Walk; less than one-mile SteelStacks campus course. For a $10, which includes general admission and the Fun Run & Walk, families can participate in the annual run with prizes for the best expressed PEEPSONALITY®. Take photos with Lehigh Valley mascots AND taste new flavors of PEEPS® that will be debuted at Easter 2024.

- General Admission & Ice Skating Session at SteelStacks Ice Rink $25. Ice skating sessions at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Ice Skating at PEEPSFEST®: The Ice Rink at SteelStacks™
New this year! Adding to festive winter experience, ice skate at the Ice Rink at SteelStacks™, presented by Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital. The Ice Rink features fresh ice maintained throughout the day. Guests can enjoy music-based theme nights and mascot skating.
Tickets for skating and additional details can be found at steelstacks.org/PEEPSFEST. Skate sessions are available between 3 and 4:30 p.m. on both days.
