Lehigh Valley’s warm season typically occurs from late May to mid-September with an average high temperature that’s over 75°F. Lehigh Valley’s hottest month of the year is July, consisting of an average high temperature of 85°F and an average low temperature of 64°F. The chilliest months run from early December to early March, with an average high temperature that is lower than 46°F. We recommend bundling up for the chilliest month, January—the average high temperature is 37°F and the average low is 21°F.

What to Pack

  • December - March: Brisk and chilly days call for coats, scarves, gloves, and thermals. Layers are essential during these months! As you enjoy Lehigh Valley in the winter, make sure to stay warm with thick fabrics and knits—a cup of coffee wouldn’t hurt, either.
