Stroll along the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor. Whether you prefer to walk, bike, or run - this trail will give you views for days. While the full trail spans 165 miles, a large portion passes through Lehigh Valley. Depending on which section you traverse, you’ll get glimpses of the canal, a locktender’s house, historic sites, and more. Or check out one of the trails that comprise THE LINK Trail Network, which is an interconnected network of beautiful multi-use trails (the D&L being one of them). If you’d like to extend your adventure, the Nor-Bath Trail makes a great addition to your route. This scenic pathway links directly with the D&L Trail and offers a peaceful, tree-shaded experience perfect for walkers, runners, and cyclists alike. In autumn, the trail transforms into a vibrant tunnel of color, making it especially inviting.

No matter how you see the grounds of Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, they are always impressive. Take in bright reds & oranges set against backdrops of original structures that date back to the 1700s. Take a self-guided tour by walking or biking through The Historic Easton Cemetery and discover the notable people laid to rest there throughout the 85 acres of rolling hills surrounded by impressive foliage.
Explore the seven covered bridges of the region.
Covering just over 50 miles, the Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour will take you on a countryside journey. Five of the bridges allow cars to drive through, though the other two are just steps away from ample parking space. Pack along a picnic lunch and make a day of it!
