Fall Fun: Made Possible in Lehigh Valley
The autumn months wash Lehigh Valley in brilliant reds and vibrant oranges, the air crisp and full of new opportunities. School may be back in session, but that doesn’t mean that the fun comes to an end! From apple orchards beckoning for you to pick your own varieties to corn mazes just waiting to get lost in - Lehigh Valley does fall right.
Head to one of the region’s fall festivals to celebrate the season, like the Fall Festival at Grim's, or Oktoberfest and Christkindlmarkt at SteelStacks. Sip on locally-crafted wines and beers to warm you up on a chilly evening—or pig out on all things Bacon at PA Bacon Fest. Encounter spooks of all shapes and sizes and haunted Halloween events, or opt for some not-so-scary haunts during daytime fun. Make your way to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect fit to carve your next jack-o’-lantern. Cozy up at a local bed & breakfast, complete with plenty of fireside charm.
Be sure to take in the scenery along the way. Admire the seven stops along the Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour, where the fall colors match the bridges perfectly. Grab your bike and pedal along the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor for canalside views.
And of course, share the fun! Tag your photos using #LVMadePossible and check out the photos tagged for a peek at Lehigh Valley in its full fall splendor.
