1. Ice Cream!

Enjoy a scoop (or two) of ice cream from area ice cream shops like The Cup in Bethlehem or Klein Farms in Easton.

2. Paddling

Paddle down the Lehigh River with the Wildlands Conservancy or along the D&L trail

3. Free Live Music—Outdoors.

Take in a free outdoor concert at the Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series. And there's tons of concerts across the Valley this summer.

4. Get Wild at the Zoo.

Get up close with the animals at the Lehigh Valley Zoo.

5. Hiking at Jacobsburg

Hike through Henry’s Woods at Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center.

6. Enjoy some wine outdoors

Sip some wine on a patio of one of the wineries in the Lehigh Valley American Viticultural Area


7. Explore the canal

Take a relaxing ride on the Josiah White II canal boat, after you've fed Hank & George of course.


8. Go Tubing

Go tubing on the Delaware or Lehigh Rivers.

10. Catch a fly ball

11. Hit the Farmers Markets

Stock up on fresh produce and locally-made snacks from the 15 Lehigh Valley Farmers’ Markets, including the oldest-continuously operating open-air market, the Easton Farmers Market.

12. Bike along the D&L

Bike along the D&L National Heritage Corridor.

13. Pick Your Own Fruit

Pick the freshest fruits (think strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and more) at local pick-your-own farms and orchards

14. Ride the Coasters

Ride all the coasters at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.

15. Explore Historic Moravian Bethlehem

Take a walking tour through the National Historic Landmark District of downtown Bethlehem.

16. Admire classic cars

Admire classic cars at Das Awkscht Fescht (August 4-6, 2023) and Wheels of Time (August 25-27, 2023).

17. Dine Outdoors

Enjoy dinner al fresco at local favorites like Sette Luna in downtown Easton.

18. Indulge in deep-fried treats

Indulge in deep-fried treats at the August 30–September 4, 2023 (August 31 - September 5, 2022).

19. Head underground

Head below ground at Lost River Caverns or Crystal Cave for some all-natural air conditioning.

20. Mini golf

Challenge your friends to a round at Putt U Miniature Golf.

21. Movies under the stars

Catch a flick under the stars at Shankweiler’s Drive-In Theatre or Becky's Drive-In or take to a movie in the parks.

22. Hike to the top

Hike to the top of Hawk Mountain or one of our Instagrammable Spots to take in the views.

23. Sunflowers

Bask in the beauty of endless fields of sunflowers aglow of the tall stems in the sun's light.
