With over 60 years of history and over 40 acres of vintage and classic cars, Das Awkscht Fescht is one of the largest antique and classic car shows in the country.
Das Awkscht Fescht celebrates the region’s Pennsylvania German culture and heritage, even in its name, a "Dutch"-sounding translation of “The August Festival.” Held annually in Macungie, Pennsylvania, the event began in 1964 as a community fundraiser to support the local park and swimming pool. The inaugural festival showcased 432 cars, and today it features more than 2,500 classic, antique, and special-interest vehicles, with some years drawing upwards of 3,000 show cars plus hundreds of participating club vehicles.

With 42 acres of fun, Das Awkscht Fescht is the largest antique- and classic-car show in the country. For 2026, the featured car area theme is antique and classic racecars and motorcycles.
Friday: Come see hundreds of antique and classic models, restored to incredible condition, as well as tractors, trucks, and motorcycles
Saturday: Enjoy a show starring over 800 antique, classic, and sports cars
Sunday: See a cast of 42 car clubs that put on a show, with over 800 vintage autos
Das Awkscht Fescht has an expansive Arts, Crafts & Antiques area, featuring handcrafted wares from over 100 vendors selling homemade soaps, jewelry, clothing, home decor, pet items, and food items.
Visit Toy Town to browse and purchase vintage toys, classic collectibles, and model cars.
For kids, the fun begins at Kinderland and Crayola® Corner! Jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists, clowns, a petting zoo, face painting, and a special creative activity and display center will educate and entertain young Fescht-goers for hours on end. There is also a moon bounce, playground, and swimming at the Macungie Memorial Pool, all open all weekend for everyone’s enjoyment.
