Da Vinci Science Center
Overview
Lehigh Valley's Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion in Allentown will ignite your curiosity and invite you, no matter how young or young at heart, to explore, question, and analyze through hands-on, interactive exhibit experiences.
Exhibits include:
- LVHN My Body: Explore the most sophisticated and complex machine in the world - the human body. You'll never see your "insides" the same way after you crawl through a larger-than-life intestine, climb into a beating heart, and peer inside the brain.
- Curiosity Hall: Step into a grand courtyard that soars over 50 feet above and become part of an immersive multimedia experience. Connect to Leonardo da Vinci's creative genius as you become the ultimate creator! Craft your very own Flying Machine, unleash your artistic genius as you Design a Self-Portrait, and explore the most epic challenge of them all - Make a Fit Kid!
- Lehigh River Watershed: Discover the wonders of the world around you as you wander through a limestone cave adorned with stalagmites and stalactites and follow the sound of water cascading from the nearby waterfall (the centerpiece of our Pocono Ravine). Four playful North American river otters are the stars of the show in this immersive exhibit that surrounds you with the flora and fauna of the Lehigh Valley.
- Science in the Making: Witness the cutting-edge innovations of Lehigh Valley companies that drive global industry and redefine the meaning of FUN. Gear up for a day of discovery, where a towering robotic dinosaur and an electric truck take center stage. Join us on an adventure into the sophisticated world of modern-day technology and industry.
- City Center Group Gallery: This gallery hosts some of the world's top traveling exhibits throughout its expansive 8,000 square-foot space.
