There’s nothing quite like catching a minor league baseball game just as the weather warms up. Being among the fans as the stadium fills up with excitement and intrigue while the players take the field is just something else. And the Lehigh Valley IronPigs certainly know how to bring their park to life with incredible plays, lively entertainment, and great ballpark food. So, as you plan your trip, read through our guide to be completely prepared for any curveballs thrown your way.
About the venue
Before the IronPigs, there were the Ottawa Lynxes, a Canadian team that needed a new home and locked their eyes on the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. In 2006, their new stadium began construction, and just two years later, the doors to Coca-Cola Park opened with a new team name for the Canadian players: The IronPigs.
Over the years since its creation, the 8,000-seat ballpark has warmly welcomed over 9 million baseball fans in summer heat, unexpected rainstorms, and more. The field has seen a fair share of its minor league players take a step into the major leagues, from Alec Bohm and Rhys Hoskins to Bryson Stott and Aaron Nola.
Stadium Information
Tickets and Seating Information
There are 8,089 seats within the stadium, but that doesn’t account for Coca-Cola’s many nontraditional seating options. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase tickets to view the game picnic-style from the lawns that complete the 360 environment or from their group pens and dugout suites.
Keep in mind, due to the park’s smaller setting, there are very few options with an available overhang or coverage from direct sunlight or rain.
Concessions
From finger food to full plates for meat lovers and vegetarians, Coca-Cola Park has a little something for everyone.

Tailgating
Coca-Cola Park understands the tradition and fun of tailgating, so they open their parking lots 2.5 hours prior to the starting pitch to welcome guests for some tailgating fanfare before the game. Please note that tailgating is only permitted in the general parking lot of Coca-Cola Park. They just ask their fans to stay safe, be mindful, clean up after themselves, and follow their brief set of rules.
There are some rules you are required to follow if looking to tailgate:
- No vehicle may occupy more than one spot
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited from being brought and consumed at tailgating events
- Food and beverage prep that requires dangerous or hazardous equipment is prohibited. For barbecues, only approved gas/propane units with fuel-valve turn-offs are permitted. No charcoal is allowed.
