The region is awash in free music, from downtown twilight concerts to picnic in the park presentations. In Allentown, experience Rock the Walk every Thursday at ArtsWalk Pocket Park from 5 to 9 p.m.; head to the patio at Promenade Saucon Valley every Wednesday in June, July, and August from 5 to 7 p.m.; and the Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series has shows scheduled most weekends through September.

Live on the Greenway, Bethlehem

Bethlehem is the place to be on Sundays. In partnership with the City of Bethlehem and the Bethlehem Mayor's Office,  is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new Live on the Greenway Sunday Concert Series! That's right! Live on the Greenway is back for four consecutive Sundays of music, food, and fun.

The concerts will run in the afternoons at Harmony Pavilion on the South Bethlehem Greenway. A different band will feature every week, with food, beverages, and ice cream available to purchase from our wonderful SouthSide businesses. So bring your lawn chairs to guarantee that you get the best seats in the house!!!

Live at the Falls, Easton

Live at the Falls, the free live outdoor music series runs from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings at Scott Park in Downtown Easton. Food trucks open at 6 p.m., with music following at 6:30 p.m. The series offers a chance to listen to great music, and enjoy fresh fare from food trucks in a picturesque setting. Scott Park has a kids playground area, and lawn games are available as well. Parking is free! Porters’ Pub will host a libations tent featuring wine, Kentucky and Moscow mules, as well as craft brews.

Summer Concert Series, City of Allentown

The City of Allentown’s 2024 Summer Concert Series begins Saturday, May 26 and will offer more than thirty open-air concerts from May to September this year. Concerts will be held at the historic West Park. All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come relax and enjoy the open-air concerts in our marvelous Allentown parks. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Lehigh Valley Active Life at 1633 Elm St. Allentown, PA 18102.

Sculpture Garden Concert Series, Bethlehem

Join the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission in the Sculpture Garden behind City Hall each Friday in June for a fun, free series of outdoor concerts! This summer’s series reflects the rich cultural diversity of Bethlehem and the greater Lehigh Valley, showcasing music from the best of regional artists who are also nationally, and internationally, known. Each concert runs from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, bring your lawn chair and stop by to join the fun.

  • Friday, June 14 - Big Valley: Get ready for a toe-tapping evening of traditional and contemporary bluegrass! Bethlehem’s own Big Valley ignites the stage with hard-driving rhythms and soulful harmonies. Featuring fiddle, up-right bass, banjo, guitar, mandolin and wide- ranging vocals.
  • Friday, June 21 - Bakithi Kumalo and Friends: Born in the Soweto township of Johannesburg, South Africa, Bakithi Kumalo’s first job was playing bass at seven years old, filling in for his uncle’s bass player. He’s perhaps best known for his fretless bass playing on Paul Simon’s iconic 1986 album “Graceland.” Currently a Lehigh Valley resident, Bakithi will be joined by Miho Nobuzane on piano and Ray Marchicha on drums.
  • Friday, June 28 - Herencia Jibara: Enjoy the spirited Latino music of long-time Valley favorites Herencia Jibara. This energetic, fun, and diverse eight-piece band shares the tunes and rhythms of Plena, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and more!

Summer Concert Series in Hopewell Park, Saucon Valley

Join Upper Saucon Township and the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce for FREE concerts at Hopewell Park! The music will get started at 6 p.m. so come early with your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a great night of music!

Food trucks as well as Mon and Mel's Ice Cream will also be on site for the evening's concerts so come hungry! A portion of all sales will go back to the Chamber to help continue to support more events like this in the community!
