Overview
The Lehigh Valley Zoo celebrates the most magical time of the year during the annual Winter Light Spectacular, beginning Friday, November 13, through Saturday, January 2, 2027.
In addition to 1.7 million lights – a total more than any other Pennsylvania attraction – WLS features classic holiday scenes, numerous photo opportunities, multiple fire pits, hot chocolate and so many other holiday treats. There will also be live performances every night featuring popular princesses and performers, such as Elsa, Anna, Ariel and Rapunzel. Additionally, Dan’s Camera City will be back offering picture packages with Santa Claus during select event dates through Dec. 23.
New for 2026, guests will enjoy Candy Land, Gingerbread Junction, the return of an enhanced Whoville, and several other exciting additions. For the first time in event history, the annual WLS Souvenir Tumbler — which comes with free refills of hot chocolate — will be a light-up stein that features three different modes. The 2026 season of Winter Light Spectacular will feature 37 scheduled event nights. For a full calendar please visit their site. The event will be on break for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Free on-site parking is available as space allows.
Winter Light Spectacular is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Lehigh Valley Zoo, the leader in animal conservation in the Lehigh Valley. Revenue from these fundraisers go towards animal conservation projects at the zoo to benefit all of our beautiful animals and conservation programs right here in the Lehigh Valley. Lehigh Valley Zoo’s location, layout, and its dedication to a quality customer experience along with Christmas Decor, the leading residential and commercial decorator in the Lehigh Valley, have partnered together to create a premier holiday destination that is unparalleled in the area.

- Lehigh Valley Zoo Members: $10, (Zoo Member admission price may not be combined with any other discount offer. Valid Lehigh Valley Zoo membership must be presented along with Zoo Members admission upon entry. Zoo Member admission may be used for any Winter Light Spectacular date.)
