Passport to History at the Moravian Historical Society
Overview
The Moravian Historical Society is pleased to announce its participation in the Lehigh Valley Passport to History Fall Weekend—a quarterly celebration of the sites, stories, and community that bring Lehigh Valley history to life. Each Passport to History Weekend, local historic and cultural sites open their doors with free admission, tours, and activities for explorers of all ages.
The Moravian Historical Society will participate in Passport to History on Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday, September 28, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
Offerings will include:
- Free admission to the Moravian Historical Society
- Free Guided Museum Tours
- Family-friendly colonial activity for all visitors
Visitors can learn about the significant contributions Moravians made to American music, art, education, and culture on a guided Museum Tour. Guests can also view the special exhibition, "New to Us: Recent Additions to the Collection" which highlights acquisitions from the last decade, inviting visitors into our process of documentation and storytelling.
The Moravian Historical Society’s Whitefield House museum is open daily from 1 - 4 p.m. and is located at 214 East Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
