Overview
Bright colors, bold patterns, and lots of creativity await at this hands-on Kids’ Maker Lab!
Join us at the Sigal Museum to explore the colorful tradition of Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs — the eye-catching designs seen on barns throughout the Lehigh Valley and Northampton County. Kids will learn about the history and meanings behind these unique symbols before painting their very own hex sign to take home. This relaxed drop-in activity blends art, local culture, and history in a fun and creative way. Perfect for curious kids and families, no experience is needed — just imagination and a love of making something colorful! Kids of all ages are welcome to stop by anytime, stay as long as they like, and enjoy a creative afternoon at the museum.
