Overview
Get ready to feel the beat and embrace the spirit of community as the highly anticipated Seventh Annual College Hill Porchfest returns on Sunday, September 28 (rain date: Oct. 5). This beloved Easton tradition transforms the charming “flats” of College Hill into a lively outdoor music festival featuring some 60 dynamic performances across more than 30 inviting porches, parks, and open spaces.
This all-ages, no-cost event invites neighbors, friends, and families to meander from porch to porch with blankets and folding chairs in hand, soaking up a vibrant mix of sounds. From intimate solo acts and duos to full bands and ensembles, there’s a musical flavor for every taste, all showcasing the incredible talent rooted in our community.
Music kicks off every hour on the hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., culminating in a high- energy 5 p.m. Grand Finale: a spirited New Orleans-style Second Line Parade led by the Big Easy Easton Brass Band. The parade steps off from College Hill Presbyterian Church, 501 Brodhead St., welcoming everyone to join in and dance along to the infectious brass tunes.
Beyond the music, Porchfest offers a full day of family-friendly fun, including the ever- popular Touch-a-Truck event with the City of Easton vehicles and Easton EMS, a Fire Truck Display hosted by Easton Fire Department at College Hill Station #3, interactive children’s music activities, and sidewalk chalk art free play area to keep the little ones entertained.
This community-powered festival proudly spotlights a mix of professional artists, passionate amateurs, and talented youth performers from the Easton Area High School’s Musical Theater program.
