Overview
Explore earthenware clay and learn the fundamentals of wheel thrown pottery in this 3-week course for beginners. No experience needed! The focus is to learn and practice the steps of the pottery making process of working with clay on the potter’s wheel. Beginners and returning students who have taken our Intro to the Pottery Wheel Course may attend and practice skills in each stage of the process from start to finish. Ages 8+ Welcome. (We do not recommend children younger than this age to attend.) All materials and instruction included.
Our Beginner Pottery Wheel class happens monthly. Each 2-hour class meets once a week for three consecutive weeks on Saturdays 10am-12pm.
