Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University is an arts & cultural venue and meeting space that provides a creative environment where world-class performing arts are brought to life in the Lehigh Valley through dynamic, multidisciplinary shows, conversations, and wellness events. Renowned. The distinguished Presenting Series has featured a wide array of high-quality multi-disciplinary performances and wellness programs, including the New York Philharmonic, Leslie Odom, Jr., the Boston Pops, Morgan Freeman's Symphonic Blues Experience, Yo-Yo Ma, Kristin Chenoweth, Momix, The Bacon Brothers, Cirque Alfonse and many more. In addition, the Lehigh University Departments of Music and Theatre present a full complement of creative concerts and productions each year. Community Partner: Annual events include longstanding Bethlehem community relationships with the Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley and The Bach Choir of Bethlehem. Lehigh University campus events presented at the center have included lectures with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Liz Cheney, Thomas Friedman, Sally Ride, Katie Couric, Colson Whitehead, and Theresa May.

Meet at Zoellner Arts Center: Zoellner has three reception areas, three theatres, and five multi-purpose rooms. The five multipurpose rooms are appropriate for conferences, rehearsals, recitals, lectures, small dinners, or receptions. Most of the rooms are wired for high-speed internet access, telephone service, and video projection setups. They seat between 20 and 125 guests, depending on the specific room.

Reception Areas

• Goodman Lobby. An elegant reception area with a wall of glass doors and a picturesque window overlooking a small terrace; Goodman Lobby is an intimate space for receptions, lectures, lunches, dinners, and ceremonies. Goodman Lobby is located on the second floor of Zoellner, opens directly into the Diamond Theater and has access to the parking garage.
• The Atrium. Lined with oak panels and Calder tapestries, the Atrium is located on the first floor of Zoellner Arts Center. This dramatic three-story atrium is ideal for receptions.
• Butz Lobby. A spacious lobby with a sweeping bar and glass doors open to the Butz Lobby terrace; this space is perfect for stand-alone receptions, dinners, ceremonies, or lectures and more. Butz Lobby is located on the second floor of Zoellner, opens directly into Baker Hall and has access to the parking garage. The terrace may be tented for a larger gathering and serves as a private location for any style function.
  

Theatres

• Baker Hall. An acoustically superior performance space, Baker Hall is suited for concerts and stage productions, ceremonies, conferences, and lectures. The stage can be modified to accommodate theatrical productions of different sizes and types, shifting from "theatrical" with a bare stage to "concert" with an orchestra shell that creates outstanding acoustics within the hall. High-speed internet access is available. Baker Hall includes audio video capabilities with state of the art equipment. For dance performances, a Marley floor is available. Baker Hall can seat up to 1,014 audience members, including ADA seats, but can also be partitioned off to seat 283, 350, 756, or 946 guests. Click here to download Baker Hall's seating chart.
• Diamond Theater. The steeply raked, semi-circular seating surrounding a three-quarter thrust stage is excellent for theatrical and chamber music groups. Diamond Theater can seat up to 311 audience members, including ADA seating. Click here to download Diamond Theater’s seating chart.
• Fowler Black Box Theatre. A large open space, with black floors and walls, the Fowler Black Box Theatre is adaptable for any event or décor. This space is perfect for stand-alone receptions, lunches, dinners, ceremonies, or lectures. Special lighting design is available in this space upon request and consultation. Fowler Black Box Theatre can seat up to 100 guests.

Multipurpose Rooms

• Large Rehearsal & Presentation Room 145. Includes blonde oak floor, grand piano, and adjustable acoustics, CD, or MP3 playback. LAN access. The large rehearsal room can seat 50-70 guests. | 1836 sq. ft.
• Dance Studio Room 121. Includes a sprung linoleum floor, full-length, floor-to-ceiling mirrors with integral ballet barre, multimedia AV system with video projection, and CD or MP3 playback. LAN access. The Dance Studio can seat 30-50 guests. | 860 sq. ft.
• Small Rehearsal & Presentation Room 143. Includes blonde oak floor, large picture window with a grand piano. Adjustable acoustics, multimedia A/V system with video projection, and CD or MP3 playback are also available. LAN access. The small rehearsal room can seat 30-50 guests. | 870 sq. ft.
• Large Seminar Room 345. Includes carpeted floor, tablet armchair desks, grand piano, and multimedia A/V system with video projection and CD or MP3 playback/ LAN access. The large seminar room can seat up to 55 guests. | 792 sq. ft.
• Small Seminar Room 211. Includes carpeted floor, natural lighting, grand piano, and multimedia A/V system with video projection and CD or MP3 playback. LAN access. The seminar room can seat 15-20 guests. | 528 sq. ft.
