State Theatre Center for the Arts
Overview
An eclectic group of shows will entice audiences to Easton’s State Theatre, which is celebrating it's 95th season. Originally opening on the BF Keith vaudeville circuit in 1926, today the Theatre continues to present top headliners, national tour Broadway shows, comedy, concerts, family programming, and more.
A non-profit, member supported center for the arts in historic Easton, PA, the State Theatre Center the Arts includes a 1,500-seat performance hall, the Acopian Ballroom, and the Lehigh Valley Hospital Gallery. For a complete list of events, click here. And, before you purchase tickets, you want to review the seating chart (not that there is a bad seat in the house!).
Tickets are available for purchase online, here. Groups of 10 or more receive 10% off State Theatre Produced shows. Groups of 20 or more receive 15% off State Theatre Produced shows. Group leader for groups of 40 or more receives one complimentary ticket.
Parking
Parking is available at the City of Easton Municipal Garage at 3rd and Ferry Streets.
Browse the Local Art Work Before the Show
The Lehigh Valley Hospital Gallery features works by local fine artists in conjunction with the Arts Community of Easton. The Gallery is open 90 minutes prior to select performances and during intermissions.
The FREDDY® Awards
The State Theatre is also the only theatre in the country to produce a live television show, The FREDDY© Awards, honoring outstanding achievement in local high school theater, for which it received an EMMY®’s in 2005, 2011, and 2019. The program is also the subject of a feature length documentary film, Most Valuable Players, which was selected for the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) Documentary Club and premiered nationally on September 8, 2011.
