Lehigh Valley Chorale

Overview

The Lehigh Valley Chorale is a vibrant, non-auditioned community choir of nearly 175 members based in Eastern Pennsylvania. Bringing together singers of all backgrounds and experience levels, the Chorale performs an eclectic repertoire that spans genres, languages, and musical traditions—from classical masterworks and contemporary compositions to Broadway favorites and beyond. With a commitment to both artistic excellence and accessibility, the organization challenges its members and audiences alike while fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Dedicated to amplifying diverse voices, the Chorale actively programs works by historically marginalized composers and seeks meaningful opportunities for community engagement. Its repertoire ranges from composers such as Bach and Fauré to modern voices like Dale Trumbore and Zanaida Robles, performed in a wide array of languages including English, Latin, German, Hebrew, French, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Ndebele, and Yoruba. Performances are enriched through varied accompaniments, including string quartet, piano, organ, brass, percussion, and a cappella arrangements.

Beyond the concert stage, the Lehigh Valley Chorale plays an active role in the community, contributing performances at local sporting events, Veterans Day ceremonies, and retirement homes.
