Located in the Trexlertown/Breinigsville area, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center has been introducing the freedom and empowerment of life on two wheels to people of all ages for 48 years. Summer Bike Camps, some of which are free for kids and adults, have exposed thousands of riders to the joy of cycling, with some going on to win National, World, and Olympic medals. The VPCC also hosts the most successful series of professional bike racing in the world, Friday Nights Under the Lights, on Friday nights during the summer.

Community Programs
Programs Running All Summer 2026
Be more than just a spectator at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Take advantage of community programs that get kids and adults of any age riding bikes in a fun, social setting, guided by professional instructors. From learning to ride without training wheels and creating safe, confident, and competent bike riders to learning to ride a fixed-gear bike in the velodrome, there is something for everyone!
Programs include Weeble Wobbles and Pee Wee Pedalers for kids ages 4 and up, Women's Wednesdays, summer camps, and the Mike Budjnoski BRL - an entry-level racing program for ages 9-16 with professional coaching and bikes provided! There’s also the Corporate Challenge: five weeks of team-building fun that culminates in a in an exciting Italian Pursuit race against other teams representing their company's brand.

Racing at T-Town
Fridays, May 29 - August 14, 2026
Cheer on riders all Summer long! This is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house on Friday nights in the summer: Friday Nights Under the Lights. See international/Olympic quality racing right here in Lehigh Valley. Current and former Olympic medalists will also join in on the racing. Concessions provided by the finger-lickin’ good Sticky Pig food truck and beer by Shangy’s Beer Garden.

VeloFest
October 3, 2026 from 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
Get some new or vintage gear at the Valley’s longest running bicycle swap meet, VeloFest, at Valley Preferred Cycling Center. It’s the perfect place to buy or sell new and vintage bikes, jerseys, helmets, accessories, and much more – including craft vendors. If you’re looking to do a little spring cleaning and have items to sell, purchase a vendor space.
Women's Wednesdays
Wednesdays, May - September, 2026
Riders of all abilities are invited to participate in a fun, social, supportive cycling environment run by women, for women. Try something new or practice your skills on Wednesdays. Dates vary depending on what time slot works best for your schedule (7-8:30 p.m., 7:30-9 p.m., or 6-7:30 p.m.)
