Allentown Arts Park
The Allentown Arts Park is a peaceful place to take in the green surroundings or enjoy your bag lunch. Throughout the summer, it boasts lunchtime concerts through the "Lively Lunches in the Park" series. The Arts Park is anchored by the Allentown Art Museum on 5th Street, Miller Symphony Hall, which backs up to Law Street, and the Baum School of Art to its north.
The Arts Park is where the the ArtsWalk begins. The pedestrian-only ArtsWalk offers a lively environment for shopping, eating, living, and visiting Downtown Allentown's arts institutions. Linking art venues to the PPL Center, the Renaissance Allentown, the Downtown Allentown Market, and City Center Allentown office towers, ArtsWalk runs from the PPL Center to the Allentown Art Museum, with shops and restaurants and City Center Residential apartments along the way. The ArtsWalk includes a “pocket park” with seating and a mini-amphitheater for live performances. Visitors can also check out 16 different “art posts” throughout the walkway and park.
