Family fun is at the heart of PEEPSFEST®, the annual two-day New Year’s Eve festival celebrating the whimsy and wonder of the PEEPS® Brand at the iconic SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA. Each year, fans arrive from all over the country to enjoy activities and marvel at the PEEPS® Chick Drop – a 4-feet, 9-inches tall, 400-pound lit PEEPS® Chick that descends at 5:30 p.m. both days to mark the beginning of an exciting new year. Close out 2025 in the sweetest way possible at the annual festival featuring the PEEPS® Chick drop.

The Basics

Come to SteelStacks campus from 3–6:00 p.m. on December 30 & 31 to enjoy the festive, family-friendly atmosphere of PEEPSFEST®, featuring indoor and outdoor activities, live music and entertainment, PEEPS®-themed games, crafts, and more. The highlight of each day is the iconic PEEPS® Chick Drop at 5:35 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky.

This year, enjoy new experiences like interactive shows by the Wildlands Conservancy and the Da Vinci Science Center, the PBS39 x PEEPSFEST® Friendship Bracelet Creation Station, and PEEPS® IN THE KITCHEN®, where Chef Julie of Levy Restaurants will showcase fun recipes. Kids can collect treats and build custom goodie bags with their PEEPS® Passport!

To ensure accessibility for all, a sensory-friendly room at PBS39 will provide a comfortable space for relaxation.

The PEEPS® Chick Drop 

December 30 & December 31 at 5:35 p.m.

Bring the whole family to SteelStacks from 3–6 p.m. and count down to the PEEPS® Chick Drop. This massive PEEPS® Chick, weighing 400 pounds and standing 4 feet and 9 inches tall, will descend each night at 5:35 p.m., signaling the start of a sweet New Year celebration with a festive fireworks finale.

Other fun includes Tootsee the Clown, face painting, inflatable games, and axe throwing!
