Legendary Lehigh University sandwich shop The Goosemen (simply “The Goose,” for regulars) is located just off campus on Bethlehem’s 4th Street with ample street parking out front.

Meats are sliced to order right in front of you, as an energetic and vocal staff assembles your sandwich or hoagie to perfection. They don’t skimp on ingredients, which makes lunch here one of the best deals in the entire Lehigh Valley.

Sure, there’s a menu board hanging up, but it’s way more fun to choose from the stack of wild recipes written on paper plates by staff and previous customers. If you dream it, they can probably make it. Also, their wide variety of chips is better than most convenience stores and will satisfy your crunch cravings.
