Point Phillips Hotel
Overview
Just 5 miles north of Bath, PA is the Point Phillips Hotel Tavern & Smokehouse. Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive to a land time forgot. Settled in 1749, built in 1806 and tavern established in 1857, this lovingly restored building is steeped in history. The Hotel’s tavern area features a vintage Eastlake style 17’ long bar with mirrored, canopied back bar which was built c.1880 in Pennsylvania and reclaimed from an old Pottsville saloon.
The warm and inviting main dining room features an original wood burning fireplace found during the restoration, with another dining room that acommodates private parties. You’ll visit for the history, but return for the food! The well balanced menu offers a variety of items to choose from, but Point Phillips Tavern became famous for its Smokehouse selections, all of which are smoked on property, in the former summer kitchen.
Bring your date, bring your family, bring your friends, you are sure to enjoy your visit to the Point Phillips Hotel Tavern & Smokehouse!
