Nine Must-See Shows Hit the Stages Summer 2025—
PA Shakespeare Festival is the Lehigh Valley’s Professional Equity Theatre hosted on the campus of DeSales University featuring acclaimed actors from Broadway, television, and film. The Festival’s 2025 Summer Theatre Series includes two musicals: Mel Brooks’ Tony Award-winning hit The Producers and the new musical Penelope; and features Shakespeare’s masterpiece Hamlet, performed in repertory with Tom Stoppard’s tragicomedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead; along with Lorraine Hansberry’s groundbreaking A Raisin in the Sun, the Festival’s “Extreme Shakespeare” of Timon of Athens, and a touring production of Much Ado About Nothing. The summer also offers the children’s theatre productions of The Princess and The Frog Prince and Shakespeare for Kids.
