Northampton County & Pennsylvania Game Commission Archery Ranges
Overview
Northampton County and the Pennsylvania Game Commission have unveiled two state-of-the-art archery ranges for local hunters and recreational shooters. Located at Gerald Seyfried Bear Swamp Park (1303 Lake Minsi Drive, Bangor) and Wayne A. Grube Memorial Park (1200 Willowbrook Road, Northampton), these facilities mark the first partnership of its kind between a Pennsylvania county and the Game Commission.
The Wayne A. Grube Memorial Park range is a brand-new addition, accessible from the park’s southern entrance, while Bear Swamp Park’s range is a complete reconstruction of its previous site. Both ranges feature overhead cover, tables for sighting, and multiple target distances for practice points and broadheads, offering archers a top-quality experience in Northampton County.
