Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center
Overview
Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center offers a network of 18.5 miles of trails for use by cross-country skiers, snowshowing, horseback riders, all-terrain bikers, and hikers. Non-hunters should wear blaze orange during hunting seasons. The Center works to educate and provide outdoor enthusiasts with opportunities to connect with nature. In the winter months, the office manages and operates a Snow Shoe Learner Program to guests and visitors interested in hitting the trails on snowshoes.
Snow & Ice Conditions
The Winter Report provides ice and snow depth information for state parks. The center is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. Maps and informational brochures are available at a variety of parking areas as well as the office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
