Lehigh Valley Insiders can save 20% off a Custom Group Tour for 15 or more people at Historic Burnside! Step back in time at Burnside Plantation, Bethlehem’s first privately owned farm and a key part of the Moravian farming system. Their exclusive custom group tours explore life on a working farm in the 18th and 19th centuries. Led by a guide dressed in traditional Moravian attire, your experience begins inside the 1748 Burnside Farmhouse. Visitors will learn about the family who lived there and the period when Moravian organ builders crafted instruments on the property. The tour continues across the preserved grounds, including the barns, an apple orchard, kitchen garden and restored High Horse-Power Wheel, which once allowed a single horse to handle the work of many men. Custom group tours are available by advance reservation. Groups of 15 or more receive 20% off this docent-led experience.
