Where to Pick Your Own Fruit in Lehigh Valley
Summer is full of bright colors - the trees are awash in green and blues sweep across the skies for miles.
Along with those colors come the freshest fruits & vegetables, all in season and ripe for picking. Before you head to the grocery store to stock up, consider paying a visit to one of these local pick-your-own farms, each offering the chance to head out to the fields and stock up on summer's sweetest treats.

Seiple Farms
5761 Nor Bath Blvd, BathFamily-owned since 1889, Seiple Farms offers a variety of seasonal pick-your-own options. In early June, you'll be able to pick your own strawberries, shelling peas, sugar snap peas, and snow peas. In the fall, September–October, head to Seiple's to pick your own pumpkins, gourds, and squash.
Gulicks Fruit Farm
6490 Koehler (Kaylor) Road, Bangor, PA
Start off summer the sweet way at Gulick's and pick your own cherries! The patch normally opens in June, around Father's Day, depending on the weather. Later in the summer, you can pick your own peaches and apples in the fall. Make sure to check their Facebook page before heading over for updates on what's open!
Valley Fruits & Veggies
5309 Colony Dr., BethlehemThe fields at Valley Fruits & Veggies offer up three varieties of strawberries for picking, May–June. If you're in a rush, you can also grab pre-picked berries fresh from their market. The market also offers treats like strawberry milkshakes and shortcakes, as well as honey produced by its on-site bees, plus greenhouse-grown tomatoes for purchase. Check out Valley Fruits & Veggies' "Valleyville," a play-place for children 12 & under.
George Schmidt Berry Farm
5681 Berry Dr., New Tripoli George Schmidt Berry Farm is a place where you can buy or pick your own fruit & vegetables, such as strawberries, red raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches, sugar peas, lettuce, cucumbers, red beets, kohlrabi, apples, and more. You can buy boxes at the farm or bring your own containers for picking your own. Heads up, this farm is cash only.
Bernard's Green Valley Farm
2925 High Hill Rd, SlatingtonPair a trip to The Slatington Marketplace with a stop to pick your own blueberries at Bernard's Green Valley Farm. The family-owned farm specializes in a variety of blueberries, usually ready to pick by late June, as well as pre-picked raspberries when available. In the winter, you can come here to cut down your own Christmas trees.
Grim's Orchards
9941 Schantz Rd., BreinigsvilleThough they may be best known for their fall festival, Grim's Orchards offers plenty of fun throughout the summer months as well. Visitors can enjoy picking their own strawberries (end of May/beginning of June–end of June), cherries (mid June–mid July), and potatoes, sweet potatoes, and vegetables (July-August) during the warmer months, plus apples (mid August–mid November) and pumpkins (September–November) when fall rolls around. Pre-picked berries and cherries are also available at their roadside market.

The Produce Crib at Juniperdale Farms offers fresh fruits like strawberries, cherries, and raspberries. Make sure to check their social media for dates on when you can go pick your own fruit!
Bob White Acres
3879 East Mill Hill Rd., Coopersburg
Bob White Acres offers strawberries, blueberries, apples, string beans, peaches, and nectarines. Each fruit blooms at different times during the year. Check their website for updates during the growing season, and bring your own containers for picking. Also, note that strollers are not permitted in the field.
Hausman Fruit Farm

You can pick your own fresh strawberries at Hausman Fruit Farm starting around the first week of June until they sell out. They also offer apple and pumpkin picking in the fall during festival weekends at the farm! If you're looking to pick up some fresh honey, milk, produce, eggs and freshly baked goods (only on Sundays), head into their farmers market located on the same property.
