Escape rooms, the newest trend sweeping the nation, have arrived in Lehigh Valley. The idea is that you get locked in a themed room with a group of friends (or strangers). You have a time limit to escape, so you must think outside of the box, decipher clues, and solve the puzzle to get yourself out.

Captured LV is the first to hit Lehigh Valley and is situated in the lower level of the Main Street Commons in historic Bethlehem. There are two different escape rooms at Captured LV—the Alchemy Lab and Pirate’s Chamber.

The Alchemy Lab is designed for 6 to 10 players. A science teacher has been abducting victims and holding them hostage for years and you are his latest research project. Luckily, the scientist has stepped out and you have 60 minutes to escape before he returns to his lab to carry on with his experiments. Can you beat the clock?

Pirate’s Chamber is designed for 2 to 5 players. Captain Bruce Bowing and his crew have stolen treasures from an island. You’re on a mission to recover the treasure and return it to its rightful owner. You’ve found Bruce’s ship and step aboard but you end up getting captured. You must retrieve the treasure and leave the ship before they realize you’ve escaped. Complete the mission in 60 minutes… tick-tock, tick-tock.

If you're looking for a mind-boggling, adrenaline-filled experience, mark this down on your bucket list. Captured LV is also the perfect team building event for companies looking for an opportunity for employees to break barriers, problem solve, communicate and simply have fun together.

After you've escaped or the time runs out, step outside and find yourself surrounded by the many wonderful restaurants along Main Street and Broad Street. During your meal, you’ll either be bragging about your brilliant escape or plotting your second attempt. Either way, this experience is sure to keep you talking for days.

Captured LV will be open Thursday through Sunday, or by appointment. Join the fun and experience the heart-pounding adventure. Can you beat the clock?
