From Grain to Glass: Eight Oaks Farm Distillery
Just a short drive from the city, you'll find Eight Oaks Farm Distillery tucked away in the countryside.
From the moment you walk in the door of the large red barn, you're welcomed as if you are part of the family. And family is key to this operation - owner Chad Butters runs the distillery with the help of many close family members.
Cozy up to the bar to enjoy handcrafted cocktails made with rum, vodka, applejack, bourbon and gin distilled right on site. When the weather is pleasant, take your beverage outside to enjoy next to a gas-powered fireplace complete with picturesque views of the farmland.
Guided tours are available for those looking for an in-depth look at how the crew here takes your favorite cocktails from start to finish. The grains are grown on-site at the farm adjacent to the distillery. From there, the team harvest, mills, mashes and distills to create the products that end up in your glass.
