The Site’s Redesign Meets the Needs of Today’s Travelers as Tourism Continues to Soar.

Discover Lehigh Valley®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and driving tourism to Lehigh and Northampton counties, unveiled the launch of its redesigned website, The upgrades elevate the site, which currently receives well over 1 million visitors annually. The sleek, mobile-responsive, visually-focused website is the official hub for both visitors and locals alike, looking to experience the two-county region that includes Allentown, Easton, and Bethlehem.

“We are thrilled to debut our newly redesigned website which will best serve the high expectations of travelers in the post-pandemic digital age,” said Alicia Quinn, vice president of marketing and strategic alliances for Discover Lehigh Valley. “Travelers across the country are planning getaways and extended stays based on the content they absorb online – our new website will provide users with an immersive experience of what exactly they can expect and fuel their wanderlust.”

Highlights of the redesign include:

  • A Fresh-Faced Minimalist Look: With the deliberate use of white space and a dedication to crisp typography, the site’s clean layout informs, but does not overwhelm as visitors navigate and learn more about the region known for its must-see attractions, entertainment, festivals, arts and culture.

  • Visuals That Are a Vibe: For travel lovers to really get the full Lehigh Valley experience, compelling and beautiful photography and energetic video are integrated across key pages and header features to offer a vibrant and illustrative experience. A “Quick View” option also provides visitors with an even faster way to preview attractions and accommodations.

  • Blogs: “The Insider’s Guide,” features in-depth articles highlighting seasonal information, insider tips, and unique stories exclusively within Lehigh Valley.

  • Interactive Map: Provides a visual & interactive overview of the region’s cities & towns, aiming to better showcase the scope of the multifaceted region. Users can click on individual cities and towns to explore places and activities in those specific areas.

  • Trip Ideas: A dedicated section provides a launch pad for travelers to plan their Lehigh Valley trip based on interests including “Day Trips” or “Family Vacation”.

  • Embracing User-Generated Content: As part of the site’s photo-forward style, content from users visiting Lehigh Valley is now prominently featured across key pages to help showcase real-time moments. Visitors are encouraged to tag @LehighValleyPa & #yesDLV for a chance to be featured.

  • Local Information: Beyond travel tips, the site highlights Lehigh Valley as a place to live, learn, work, and play, complimenting the Made Possible in Lehigh Valley campaign.

  • Planners Site: For those planning an event – whether it be a wedding, sports tournament, or a business meeting, the new planners section is filled with valuable resources. Users can also find spaces based on attendee size, number of rooms needed and location.
