A butterfly lands on a flower at Wildlands Conservancy, Lehigh Valley, PALehigh Valley Zoo

From African penguins to zebras, you’ll find more than 300 animals representing 100 species at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. Zookeepers offer special experiences for visitors including feedings with animals like giraffes, otters, penguins, and more. 

Nurture Nature Center

Explore the science of the Earth as you learn about climate and weather patterns, hurricanes, social global networks and trends, and more. The key feature of the facility is the Science on a Sphere—a 6-foot suspended globe which displays more than 250 views of earth and space.

Crystal Cave
963 Crystal Cave Rd., Kutztown 
Head 125 feet below ground where the temperature hovers at 54 degrees year-round to admire milky white stalactites, stalagmites, pillar, and dripstone formations. The cavern draws its name from the shining calcium crystals that were carved slowly by nature through the passage of time. 

Wildlands Conservancy

Explore the Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, which features 2.6 miles of hiking spread across seven trails, including the popular Boardwalk Trail. The Wildlands Conservancy preserves land in nine locations across the Lehigh Valley area and provides education to more than 19,000 students annually.

Lil-Le-Hi Trout Nursery

Explore the Fish Hatchery where you can learn about the various life stages of trout as they grow to full-size fish. Signs throughout the park provide a self-guided experience. Bonus: you can feed certain tanks of fish with food available for purchase on site.
