Lynn - Heidelberg Historical Society

The mission of the Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society works to support an educational undertaking by promoting the discovery, collection, preservation, archive display, interpretation, and publication of the history, historical records, culture, landmarks, artifacts, memorabilia, and data of the Townships of Lynn-Heidelberg and surrounding areas.

Ontelaunee Park opened on Labor Day weekend 1929 and tended to appeal to families who enjoyed the swimming pool, live country and western music, and simple rides. One of the most popular rides was a small train that carried people around the park. The group is currently working to restore this train.
Today, guests can visit Ontelaunee Park to admire the restored 1740s Log Cabin, Fort Everett, Mail Pouch Bank Barn, and replica of the New Tripoli Train Station.
