Founded in 2001 and located on an 18+ acre farm in Nazareth, PA, Equi-librium provides individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as social/emotional needs, with accessible and affordable therapy by utilizing horses as therapy tools. The mission of Equi-librium is to empower individuals with special needs to reach their highest potential through horse-related activities.
Equi-librium encourages people of the community to participate in their Shoes for Shoes program. Gently worn pairs of shoes are collected and recycled to families in need abroad. The proceeds go towards the cost of putting horseshoes on the hooves of therapy horses. If you are looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity, Equil-librium has a plenty of opportunities. The volunteer program is a key element in providing riders with a safe and enjoyable environment.
Equi-librium is proud to be one of only seven PATH International premier accredited centers in the State of Pennsylvania, and the only one to offer therapeutic carriage driving as well as riding.
