Details
Members of the Moravian Church founded the city of Bethlehem, and Moravians have remained in Bethlehem to this day. The Edgeboro Moravain Church is one of seven Moravian congregations serving Bethlehem. Worship services are held each Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. In the summer months, there is a single worship service at 9:30 a.m.
Throughout the year, we hold events open to the community, but our most popular events are:
- The Ice Cream Festival. (August) Hundreds come out to eat good food and ice cream from The Bethlehem Dairy Store.
- The Halloween Open House. The church is a regular Trick-or-Treating stop during Bethlehem's regular hours in October - candy, cookies, crafts, hot drinks, and food for the family.
- The Christmas Putz. View our hand-made narrated nativity scene and visit our Christmas Room shop where traditional Moravian items and other Christmas items can be purchased, December 1 - 22. Please call in advance. Click here for more information.
Each of these events have been hosted by Edgeboro Moravian Church for nearly two decades (or more) and have become staples in the life of the surrounding community.
