The “Secret Valley Line” is your ticket to a place and time when iron rails connected a divided people and the heart of the nation pulsed with the potent energy of the steam locomotive and lives were being rebuilt following the Civil War. Construction was an epic record of engineering and human drama. Ride the rails to appreciate the beauty of this area and learn of the history.
Not only is the scenery of the area beautiful, but the train cars are also exquisite. As a rider of the rails, you can choose to ride in the beautiful Garden Café car, which serves brunch, lunch, or dinner; the Deluxe Coach car; the First Class Parlor Car; or the Secret Valley Explorer Open Car, which allows passengers to take in the scenery from an open car that provides near-360-degree panoramas of the sweeping valleys and natural beauty. For the true train lover, you could book a ticket to ride in the locomotive. This gem of an attraction is sure to delight visitors of all ages.

- Holiday events include the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Train, inviting you to take the ride while wearing pajamas and sipping on hot chocolate, and the Santa’s Polar Bear Express Train, where you can ride with Santa to his Secret Forest to you can pick a Christmas tree and have it loaded onto the train.
