Two Part Invention
The Moravian Historical Society is pleased to announce that Two Part Invention, an ensemble made up of Nora Suggs, flute, and John Arnold, guitar will perform "Morning Star–Music in Moravian America" on Saturday, February 8 at 3 p.m. in the historic 1740-1743 Whitefield House Museum.
Audiences can step back in time as this intimate and historic setting will help re-create the ambience of the original performances of the music on the program. The program arranged by Suggs and Arnold is based on research conducted at local historical collections such as the Moravian Music Foundation, the Moravian Archives, and collections owned by Historic Bethlehem.
Please note the concert will be held on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs due to the historic nature of the building.
