The Little Gate-Crasher

Do you remember Lehigh Valley native Mace Bugen? Mace (1915-1982) led an extraordinary life as a self-starting businessman and community leader in Easton and Phillipsburg. He never let his size–3 feet tall–or limited mobility stop him from achieving his passions and dreams. Before the age of digital cameras, Mace had an unusual hobby–taking celebrity selfies with the greatest athletes, entertainers, and politicians of his time. Meet his great-niece Gabrielle Kaplan-Mayer, the author of The Little Gate-Crasher, who will share about Mace’s legacy in the area and beyond.

Copies of The Little Gate-Crasher will be available for purchase and signing.

This program is free in celebration of the new Destination: Northampton County exhibition opening.
