Sensory Sensitive Events: Be the Astronaut

Sensory Sensitive Events at the Da Vinci Science Center feature a quiet environment full of hands-on, interactive fun!

We have partnered with Good Shepherd Occupational Therapists to perform an environmental assessment of the Science Center in order to provide the best possible experience to visitors with special sensory needs. Educators have completed specialized training to aid in their ability to facilitate our exhibits for individuals looking for heightened or diminished sensory input for almost all of our exhibits.

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing by exploring our Be the Astronaut exhibit. Experiment with space mission activities in Leo's Creativity Studio, featuring stomp rockets, lunar landers, and the space exploration marble maze.

Be sure to check out our Use the Force live science show (included with admission) at 6:30 p.m. on March 27 and 10:30 a.m. on March 31.

Plus, meet some of Lehigh Valley's premier organizations offering family support services for learners of all shapes, sizes, and needs.

Event Times: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on March 27; 9 a.m. - noon on March 31
