Saturdays at the Museum: Cattails! The Wonder Plant

Looks like a corn dog. Grows in the swamp. Though common, it was essential to Native life. The cattail was not only good for eating, it was also used in hunting, housing, fire making, keeping children happy, and lots more. On Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., join primitive lifeways specialist, Christine Applegate, as she explores the many uses for the Cattail, the Wonder Plant!
