"Our Rights and Nothing Less" 100 Years of Women Voting in America
The Liberty Bell Museum proudly presents its winter 2020 exhibit, “Our Rights and Nothing More.” One hundred years ago, the U.S. Congress passed the 19th amendment giving all women in America the right to vote for the leaders of the nation. The current exhibit highlights and celebrates the journey women have traveled to obtain equal rights with men.
This exhibit is the product of a partnership with the local chapter of the League of Women Voters. Touch History, and Be Transformed!
Join the Liberty Bell Museum on February 20, 2020 from 4:30 - 6 p.m. for the exhibit opening, featuring guest speaker and Lehigh County Executive, Phillips Armstrong. Armstrong will speak on the impact women voting has had on society. Light refreshments will be served.
