Movies at the Mill Film Festival
Filmmakers, foodies and fun seekers don't miss this one! In addition to an exceptionally well-curated slate of short films from regional, national and international filmmakers that spans all genres, festival day will start with MME's signature networking event, a seminar series highlighted by distinguished film industry Julian Schnabel. The theme for this year's seminar is, "The Art of Filmmaking."
"I can promise you when you sit down to view the films that we curated, you will be engaged and entertained," says MME Founder, Gershon Hinkson.
The festival grounds at Silk will open at 6 p.m. Festival-goers will have access to all of the site's business, retail, and dining options. Silk businesses will be offering MME-specific specials for the evening, and an on-site Beer Garden. Silk, is a mixed-use creative community of small businesses, cottage industry retail, dining and living opportunities.
Other highlights of the evening include an array of both savory and sweet concessions provided by the best in Easton restaurants such as Sette Luna and Ocean, as well as the new businesses located at Silk, live music, a DJ, tours of both the adjacent Karl Stirner Arts Trail and of the apartments of Silk, and a VIP lounge. A brief ribbon- cutting ceremony attended by Easton Mayor Sal Panto, Jr., and other local, state and federal representatives essential in creating the necessary environment to make this project a success will be held just prior to the screenings. Festival goers must be age 18 and over to attend.
