LCCC to Host Super Saturday Annual Teacher Education Seminar


Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Teacher Education department will host the annual Super Saturday teacher education seminar from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Scheller-Woodman Community Services Center (CSC), main campus in Schnecksville. The program begins with registration at 7:30 a.m.

Breakout sessions include information on strengthening families, structuring the classroom environment for success, connecting to the Reggio Emilia approach, using natural and recycled materials, and much more.

Workshops meet Department of Human Services (DHS) and Keystone Stars and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) requirements. Training certificates will be awarded to participants.

There is a $30 nonrefundable fee required before the day of the event, which includes the training sessions, as well as guided tours of the Fowler Education Center with proceeds to benefit the Teacher Education Resource Scholarship Foundation. LCCC students can attend for free.
