Celebrating 25 years of showing Jewish films at the JCC, Jewish Film Nights at the J brings you 8 thought-provoking, entertaining, and educational films. There will be one film shown on one night each month. Each film will have a brief introduction and opportunity to stay after for discussion. Themes are varied: drama, history, comedy, documentary, contemporary. JCC's committee scours the film universe to bring you the best available. All have a Jewish connection. We invite everyone in the community to enjoy these free nights at the JCC.

The Samuel Project

Eli gets to know his grandfather Samuel for the first time when he makes him the subject of an animated art project for school. With dreams of becoming a professional artist, Eli discovers that his Jewish grandpa was heroically saved from Nazi capture in Germany by a young woman when he was a boy.
