Jazz in the Christmas City
Enjoy Christmas jazz music in the Christmas City to benefit the Children’s Home of Easton! Featuring Corinne Mammana (vocals) & Sean Gough (piano). Opening act provided by Matt Bednarsky.
Praised by JazzTimes for “superb technique,” American jazz singer Corinne Mammana is passionate about preserving the music of the past while placing her own personal spin on the American songbook, as well as popular tunes from the past few decades. With creative arrangements sung in a sophisticated and soothing style, fans have described her voice as a cross between Norah Jones and Jane Monheit. Her debut EP received national praise and an interview with AXS who said, “Mammana loves the music of the past, but she just might be the voice of the future.” http://www.corinnemusic.com
Celebrate Christmas with a cause!
Think of the magic of the Christmas season...especially for young children. Waking up Christmas morning to see presents wrapped under the tree is unlike any other experience throughout the entire year. Consider though, that some children do not have the chance to experience that with their families. Fortunately, the region is blessed to have the Children’s Home of Easton! There, children spend Christmas surrounded by a supportive staff of caretakers and other children to share the holidays and to create new memories.
The sincere desire is to create a Christmas "win-win" in the Christmas City! You and your guests will enjoy an engaging concert. Enjoy a fun atmosphere for our special guests from the Children's Home. A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Children's Home of Easton You have an opportunity to contribute directly to the Children's Home with an unwrapped gift* or monetary donation.
