Healing the Soul of the Nation - 3rd National Interfaith Conference
Is the United States, beset by deepening political, social, and cultural conflicts, experiencing a spiritual crisis? If so, what can religious leaders, social activists, and lay-people do to help resolve these differences and heal America’s soul?
On Saturday, November 10, from 8:30-3:30 pm, a diverse host of representatives from an assorted array of religious organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley, specialists from many academic fields, as well as civil servants, social activists and lay-people will convene at Respect Graduate School in Bethlehem, PA, to address these very important questions as part of an ongoing series of Nationally held Conferences. Afterwards, there will be Q&A and small breakout discussions where our panelists and attendees will share their thoughts and develop ideas on how we all may take what we have learned from the conference and work collectively, as well as independently to heal the soul of our nation.
Continental breakfast and lunch (both vegetarian/kosher/halal) will be served.
This event is brought to you by United Mercy Mobilization Alliance Charities (UMMA Charities) and Building Respect in Community (BRIC) and sponsored by The Lehigh Conference of Churches, Al-Ahad Islamic Center, EMGAGE, and Lehigh Print & Data.
