Fly Tying Series for Teens | Various days through February and March

During this free five-part series, students will have the chance to learn about freshwater communities while gaining new skills in tying their own flies. On the last day of the series, students will have the opportunity to test their flies on the water while practicing casting techniques and fishing using loaner equipment provided by the PA Fish and Boat Commission while under the supervision of Trout Unlimited and Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center staff. 

Series Dates and Times:

  • Thursday, February 2 and 16 | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 2 and 16 | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 26 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
