Details

From the American Revolution when Moravians such as Spangenberg and Ettwein were aiding the founding fathers in Bethlehem, to the Civil War when local boys were fighting with the armies, through the times of the World Wars when Presidents were invited to the Female Seminary, Moravians have been involved. Local Moravian community members played a part in the larger story of American history since the 1740s, and continue to do so today.
