Easton Arts Tour at Book & Puppet
Parade Puppets by Rebecca Migdal & Easton Artists
This spring, the public is invited to discover “Art Where It Starts” at The 21st Annual Arts Community of Easton Arts Tour taking place throughout the burgeoning arts and dining district of downtown Easton, PA. This is a great opportunity to experience the vibe this hip, river town is all about. Art studios, galleries, and makers shops will open their doors on the weekend of April 27-28, 2019 for a free, self-guided tour that allows a look behind the scenes and opportunity to see and talk to artists about their creative processes.
Participants can pick up their tour maps and listing of participants at the Arts Community of Easton (ACE) at the Easton Public Market, or at any of the participating artist and makers locations (look for the orange and teal balloons), to set out on a self-guided tour between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Sponsored by Arts Community of Easton (ACE) in conjunction with Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the Lehigh Valley Arts Council, the ACE Arts Tour is now in its 21st year and features over 50+ artists whose work can be viewed and purchased at over 20+ different locations throughout the downtown neighborhood.
The ACE Arts Tour also supports and educates the entire community by making it possible to explore local fine art and fine craft in a broad range of media and styles, to encounter artists and makers in their work environments, and to learn the how’s and why’s that drive creativity and innovation.
