Crayola Experience and Lehigh Valley YMCAs Colorfully Creative Fundraiser

Crayola Experience, Lehigh Valley kids and the NY Mets Minor League Baseball Team affiliate are asking people to step up to the plate and help raise money for area YMCAs.

The Easton attraction and the Brooklyn Cyclones are auctioning one-of-a-kind baseball jerseys that were decorated by kids attending the Allentown and Easton YMCA summer camps and then worn by the team players at a game earlier this month. These specially designed jerseys featuring line art of whimsical Crayola characters were colored using Crayola fabric markers.

All proceeds from the online auction—which ends Aug. 31—will benefit the YMCAs of Easton and Allentown, as well as the YMCA of Coney Island. You can access the online auction at - search Brooklyn, NY in the app.

Earlier this summer, Crayola Experience and the Brooklyn Cyclones held coloring events with the Allentown and Easton YMCAs, the Brooklyn Cyclones Kids Club and the team players to decorate the specially designed, line-art jerseys. The team wore the custom jerseys during a home game, 5-4 win over the Hudson Valley Renegades on Aug. 8.
